Tropical Depression Harvey Update

Hurricane Harvey Recovery - We're here for you.

If you have been affected by Hurricane Harvey, we want to do our part to help you recover.

Open for business.

All American Bank offices except Port Aransas are open for business as usual. Port Aransas is working out of a mobile disaster recovery facility and open for business Monday - Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with no Motor Bank service currently available.

Additionally, all American Bank ATMs are operational.

Customer Service can be reached at 800-257-8316 during normal business hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

As always, you can access your account information anytime via Bank OnLine, Mobile Banking and 24-Hour Bank-By-Phone.

Here to help you.

The American Bank fees normally charged for using a non-American Bank ATM for withdrawals or balance inquiries are being refunded or waived from August 24th through September 30th.  The fee charged by the owner of the ATM will still apply.

If you need a replacement Check Card, we can now provide it at any of our branches.   If you have been displaced due to the disaster and need a new card mailed to you, we will replace your card at no cost and waive any overnight delivery charges through September 30th.

Incoming wire transfer fees (up to two) are being waived through September 30th for clients who have not had money wired into their accounts in the past 30 days.

We will also waive early withdrawal penalties on CDs through December 31st if you need access to your savings to rebuild your home or business.

If there are circumstances that are affecting other aspects of your account or loan relationship with us, please contact your banking officer or Customer Service.  Nothing means more to us than being able to help you on the road to recovery.
