Over our 50-year history, we’ve encountered many challenges and have been there for our clients through them all. Today’s COVID-19 situation is no different. We’re strong, well-capitalized and have ample liquidity. Our management is seasoned; our shareholders and directors live and work in our communities. We’re an FDIC-insured institution too, providing additional safety and security for your deposits.
We are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation as it evolves and our top priority is the safety and health of our employees and clients, as well as the safety of your deposits. Given the increasing number of virus cases, and recent CDC guidelines and orders from Texas’ Governor Abbott regarding limits to the number of people that gather in a common area, we are implementing an approach to delivering banking services that aligns and provides increased safety for our employees and you.
Beyond our branches, we offer Online Banking, Mobile Banking, and other services that are always available for your use. Learn more about banking solutions for a COVID-19 World.
Temporary Branch Changes
The bank’s social distancing plan has temporarily transitioned to Motor Banks as the primary means of operation, with most services being available through those drive-through facilities during their regular business hours.
Branch lobbies are open by appointment, made in advance by phone, for services not available in the Motor Bank. Beginning Monday, June 29, everyone visiting or working in an American Bank lobby or other facility will be required to wear a face covering during their time on site.
All banking services are available through one means or the other. The lobbies of branches that do not have a Motor Bank (San Antonio Concord Plaza and Corpus Christi One Shoreline Plaza) are open with limitations as to how many clients are allowed in the lobbies at one time.
Details for each branch are provided below.
