Kyle Fernandez Joins American Bank's Houston Team

American Bank is pleased to announce Kyle Fernandez has joined its Houston team as a Commercial Lending Officer. Fernandez will office at the bank’s 3737 Buffalo Speedway location. Making the announcement was Charlie Phillips, Market President for American Bank’s Houston Market.
Fernandez most recently worked at a wealth management firm in Houston, where he served as an Investment Analyst. His primary responsibilities included supporting due diligence efforts and managing bank compliance. Fernandez’s commercial banking career started at American Bank several years ago where he was an underwriter before transitioning into operations. He’s skilled at facilitating projects across both the commercial lending and wealth management areas of the bank.

About Kyle Fernandez
Kyle Fernandez joins American Bank as a Commercial Lending Officer after spending the past 18 months as an Investment Analyst for Pin Oak Investment Advisors, Inc. in Houston. Prior to that, Fernandez served in several roles at American Bank, including Process and Operations Manager for Commercial Lending and Wealth Management and Commercial Credit Underwriter.
In his new role at American Bank, Fernandez will be responsible for supporting the banking and financial services needs of commercial banking clients throughout the Houston area.
Fernandez holds a business degree from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. He is also active in various community organizations, including the Tellepsen Family Downtown YMCA's advisory board, the National Eagle Scout Association, and Houston Children’s Charity.
