American Bank Opens New Corpus Christi Loan Production and Community Development Office
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX | August 28, 2024
American Bank continues to invest in its home market and headquarters of Corpus Christi. This month, American Bank opened its newest Corpus Christi location, which will be a dedicated Loan Production and Community Development Office to serve the growing needs of the community. The new office is located at 3138 S. Padre Island Drive, Ste. 106 in Corpus Christi.
American Bank’s Community Development Department will office at the new location. This team is led by Monique Espinosa, Community Development Manager for American Bank, and is responsible for engaging with current and prospective clients throughout the bank’s South and Central Texas markets.
“We’re excited to open this location for our clients and to establish a new homebase for our community development efforts,” said Mark Meyer, President of American Bank’s South Texas Region. “When we formed the Community Development Department earlier this year, we laid out a plan to engage them with our community. This new office is strategically placed to help Monique and her team to better connect with all areas within Corpus Christi. They’re already doing great things for our clients and our city.”
“My team and I wanted an accessible location where we could be available to those clients who need additional resources for their banking needs,” said Espinosa. “This new office is ideally situated to allow us to connect with our Corpus Christi area clients. Doing this is more than just our responsibility. It’s truly our privilege to be able to provide banking services to all areas of the community.”
American Bank also recently announced plans to open its 7th branch in Corpus Christi later this year. The American Bank – Bay Branch is well underway and scheduled to open in December 2024. The new Bay Branch will be located in the former Bay Building at 101 North Shoreline Blvd., Ste 100.
