Diego Ramirez Joins American Bank's Treasury Management Team

American Bank is pleased to announce Diego Ramirez has joined its team as Treasury Management Sales Officer for its San Antonio, Austin, and Houston markets. Ramirez will office at the bank’s San Antonio 281 location at 12800 San Pedro Avenue in San Antonio. Making the announcement was Cassandra Wiggins, Director of Treasury Management for American Bank.
Ramirez has nearly a decade of direct banking experience, where he’s developed a passion for leveraging data to assist his clients with their businesses. Across his career, Ramirez’s experiences have ranged from personal banker to relationship manager, and he has built a deep understanding of business development and foreign exchange. He holds an MBA from St. Mary’s University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley.
In his new role as Treasury Management Officer, Ramirez will advise business clients on products to help them efficiently manage their cash while boosting profits and limiting expenses. He will also work closely with American Bank’s commercial banking team to support clients with payments and receivables, digital banking transactions, and fraud risk mitigation.

About Diego Ramirez
Diego Ramirez joins American Bank as a Treasury Management Sales Officer after spending the past 9 years at Vantage Bank, based in San Antonio. During his time there, Ramirez served in a variety of roles, including Premier Relationship Manager, Banking Advisor, and Relationship Banker.
In his new role at American Bank, Ramirez will work closely with the bank’s commercial business clients in its San Antonio, Austin, and Houston markets.
Ramirez holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley and an MBA from St. Mary’s University. He is also currently pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley. Ramirez is a member of the Austin and San Antonio chapters of the Association of Financial Professionals (AAFP and SAAFP) and is a member of Asociacion de Empresarios Mexicanos (AEM).
